RISD museum
fall 2007

RISD is building a new museum and I was assigned to design an original idea to display upcoming exhibits of the museum. Tracing images of the proposed architecture I display my concept of a sculpture and sign for the courtyard of the new museum. The piece would be a series of columns that rotate from a central axis and periodically pause to display exhibit information. Positioned over a shallow pool, the structure would create a resting space during the day and reflections during the night as the structure would be lit during evening hours.
